"All truth about deception" Summary and Overview Nobody wants to be deceived. Everyone wants to be treated fairly and honestly. Nevertheless our life is soaked with lies and deception.

How to detect a lie, how to avoid traps, which swindlers are setting up on our way? Can you tell when someone is lying? What are the different kinds of fraud? Where the boundary between truth and lie can be found? How do the professional bilkers manage to deceive hundreds of people? You will be able to answer these and many other questions after you will read the book of Dr. Yuri Scherbatykh "All truth about deception", and whereupon deceiving you will be a much harder task.

The book of a psychophysiologist Yuri Scherbatykh "All truth about deception" is devoted to comprehensive study of nature of deception, its means and its role in our society. The book examines the technology of deception and lying, including such methods as "suggestion of trust/confidence", "creation of parallel reality", and "mind manipulation". From the psychophysiological point of view the author evaluates the role of memory, attention, and reflexes as applied to lies, as well as use of different human psychological conditions (love, jealousy, fear, or heightened motivation) for false suggestion. The separate chapter is devoted to the strategies of truth identification, starting from non-verbal signs (mimicry and gestures) and ending with polygraph, more known as a lie detector. The author discusses some moral, ethical, and sociopolitical aspects of deception, as well as its role in different spheres of our life. History, politics, military, religion, astrology, medicine, advertising, sport, and business - this is not the full list of areas of human life that the author narrowly examines in order to reveal lie, and some of these discoveries are shocking. The world is full of lies! It turns out that not only commerce and politics, but also art, literature, science and pedagogics are not always free of lies. Nevertheless, the author's conclusion is rather optimistic: if we cannot completely eliminate this phenomenon from our social life, we can at least be prepared for it, so we will not be defrauded.
